RILEY (24 Sept. 2006 - 23 Sept. 2020)

My beautiful boy crossed the rainbow bridge one day short of his 14th birthday. Like all dogs "he was here for a good time, but not for a long time" and I really miss him being beside me. My house is now quiet, but it was his time to go.

Thank you to everyone who has read and commented on Riley's blog over the last ten years. Sharing his life with you, reading your comments and reading your blogs has meant a lot to me.

I am so sorry to learn of Riley's passing over the Rainbow bridge. We had to put down our much beloved maremma boy, just short of 13 years. last Friday. It is so hard and we all miss him in our lives.

It's never long enough, is it? Norma Jean is almost 14 and was recently diagnosed with leukemia. To me she's still a silly puppy. The time goes too quickly.

Oh I am so sorry to read this sad news about your beloved Riley. How hard it is to lose a dear companion, even when it is, as you say, his time to go.
And thank you for your such kind words about Bertie's recent diagnosis. How I would love to have him around for much longer, but the realist in me fears that this is not to be.
Sending much love,
Gail.

Hi
I saw your comment on Sophie's blog. I am so sorry to learn of Reily's passing and then I noticed that your name is Francesca. Not a common name in New Zealand, however, my daughter's name is Francesca. She was named after my husband's grandfather who was Francesco. Regards Liz
