And now for something completely different...

here are some old photos of me, taken in 2010, when I was four which is a few years ago as I turned seven this week!

I had a sore back and one of my back legs wasn't too good, so after x-rays and talking to my vets my human took me to a heated dog swimming pool, where a nice lady dressed me in a fancy red coat, and then got in the water with me. I had so much fun fetching my floating toy that I forgot I was exercising!

My leg is fine now but unfortunately the business closed, so I don't get to go there anymore.

Woofs,
Riley

Hello Riley,

The Missus has plans to sign me up for some swimming classes to build up my back leg muscles and I'm looking forward to it!

Hope all is well on your side. A happy barkday to you in advance. I hope you'll get lots of love, pressies and yummy treats. :)

Love,
Homer

Hi Riley, I hopped to you from Kim at Golden Pines, what a wonderful journey you have had, and your new buddy Enzo. Do you live anywhere near Wanganui? Palmerston North? Levin? Would love to meet you and take some pics too, you are so camera savvy. Cheers from Jean.

Too bad they closed. We have therapy pool like that and I sometimes get to go during the winter just because.

Happy Birthday!

Kisses,
Dexter

I was going through my blog list and thought I'd stop by for a visit and say 'HI!' We missed this post (and miss you too) but we know first hand the good things swimming can do for pups. Our boy Josh was the first one with the rescue I volunteer with to do swim therapy, and I saw first hand what a value it can be and how it can change a pups life--He had been hit by a car as a young pup and had 5 orthopedic surgeries. I will always be convinced that Josh can walk and run because of it, and I'm glad it helped for you too!!

I hope you all are doing well!!
